PEA-RIFLE ACCIDENT.
RABBIT TRAPPER SHOT.
At dusk yesterday afternoon Robert Howling, 33 years, of Carroll-street, North Melbourne, set out, accompanied by his four-year-old son, and carrying a pea rifle, to set some rabbit traps at Croydon.
Howling laid the loaded rifle on the ground, and proceeded to set a trap. The child picked up the rifle, and a few seconds later it was discharged, the bullet striking Howling in the back near the. shoulder.
He was taken to the Alfred Hospital and admitted. His condition is not serious.

Streetscape

This streetscape contains an outstanding collection of 27 Victorian and 6 Edwardian dwellings. These are a particularly well-preserved group from a similar period or style and because they are socially and historically significant buildings for the early development of North & West Melbourne in their own right.
