GLORIA LIGHT CO.
This company’s stand attracted much notice at the Sydney Show. Last winter the Gloria flooded over 15,000 Australian
farmhouses with light, and the demand for it this season, so far, has quite over-shadowed all past records. Its popularity
has been won on merit. Its low cost of up-keep is due to the fact that 90 per cent, of the light is composed of air, and the remaining 4 per cent. vapour. In some cases the saving it has effected in the cost of illumination (candles, kerosene, &c.), has paid for the installation of the Gloria in two years; while, at the same time, the farmer and his family, have enjoyed the comforts of a highly satisfactory service. With the Gloria there is no machinery to get out of order, and because of this a plant with ordinary care will last from 30 to 40 years. Its simplicity of construction and operation makes the task of attention easy and safe from risk of explosion.
